Why do Women and Men Wave Differently through their Car Windows?
Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 03:13PM Q. Why do women and men wave through a car window so very differently from each other? I mean we’re all humans right? Just wondering in NM
A. Technically, Just Wondering, yes we are all humans, however there are vast differences in our greeting patterns.
A) Women tend to wave in a quick succession of say 15 extremely fast waving repetitions while quietly muttering “hi” inside their cars, grinning profusely.
B) Men more often will simply hold their hands up once and hold it in place while pursing their lips and closing their eyes, slowly nodding their heads up and down.
The reason for this is that women are by nature more excited, more truly happy to see the other individual whereas men are simply acknowledging that they themselves have been recognized as in “Dude, you saw me alright?”
Women are highly developed social leaders, enabling them to exude joy and happiness while passing a juice box to three toddlers in the back seat, while men have developed the skills necessary to look cool at all costs despite all appearances to the contrary.
Sounds right to me - try it on the way home, dare ya.
