Thanksgiving Impossible – Pleasing all Partakers
Monday, November 17, 2008 at 04:10PM In the days of yore, families came together on Thanksgiving Day wherein they paused to give thanks for the meal and for the abundance in their lives. Typically, the dinner was turkey, gravy, potatoes, after much discussion, a stuffing of some sort and pie – or several. Those who were invited were excited that not only were they assured of a grand feast, they would be surrounded by grateful people who for the most part got along.
Today, we’ve got more dietary practices seated at one table than the entire U.N. and the people hosting this mélange are expected to honor them all.
