Keeping up with the Politically Correct Policy Makers
Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 02:01PM There was a time not so long ago, when the goal for most Americans was to have a home of their own, a yard with a little grass for the kids to run around on, and a station wagon to pile everybody into so that they could go visit grandma and grandpa. Today of course all of the above is politically incorrect according to the enlightened people who have the inside scoop on these things.
I was at my local upscale hippie dippie health food store the other day and the clerk asked me the usual - how the day was going, what I was doing on the weekend – just the usual chit chat. I told her all was fine – and as for the weekend, I was getting ready to have a few friends over for a bar-b-q. At that point the universe stopped, the air in the store was sucked straight back into the vents and her eyes shot up past her bangs and into her ponytail.
